Synopsis:
The character of Doctor Dolittle created by Hugh Lofting was re-adapted into a film, this time entitled 'Dolittle.' The film, directed by Oscar-winning director Stephen Gaghan, starred Robert Downey Jr. (Iron man, Sherlock Holmes).
The film produced by Universal Pictures tells the story of John Dolittle who went into exile together with his animal colleagues after his beloved wife died on an expedition.
However, Dolittle had to return to civilization when Queen Victoria was dying because of a rare disease. Dolittle, who was accompanied by herds of animals and a boy named Tommy Stubbins, went back on an adventure to the world in search of medicine for the Queen.
